Concept
The Nomad is a series of window displays created for Hermès, exploring the idea of adventure and the desire to venture beyond.
The journey unfolds as an intimate Grand Tour through highly texturized landscapes. Objects do not adorn so much as compose small territories around the body, lending shelter, rhythm, and orientation. With this portable order, the outer world and the inner one come into tocus together.
The Nomad is a collaboration started in 2025 between Studio Pi and Lanzavecchia + Wai, led by creative director Francesca Lanzavecchia.

For the backdrop of these windows display, Studio Pi created two pattern.
The Blue Lily Pad River (see above) depict a flowing current of lily pads, weaving a rhythmic tapestry across an emerald tide. This visual meditation explores the geometry of water, where delicate leaf skeletons and botanical clusters drift like a flooded forest in motion.
Through a palette of mint and deep turquoise, the piece captures a moment of aquatic weightlessness, a nomadic passage through a world made of lace and water.
The red Canopée (see bellow) explore the dialogue between pertect geometry and biological complexity, where the soft, rhythmic textures of the foliage create a monochromatic landscape that pulses with an inner, subterranean heat. It is a visual meditation. The Nomad transit peacefully through this intrigate forest of form, protected by the wild.
